Headsets with a fixed boom microphone and USB or 3 mm input are recommended for optimal audio and speech input.
The headset must provide at least 8khz of audio signal bandwidth, therefore the sample rate must be at least 16kHz.
Check your audio device recording settings and select a sample rate of 16 kHz or more in the Advanced settings for audio devices. It is preferable to have headsets that can record at a 44.1 kHz sample rate.
Airpods and headsets with dangling microphones are not approved or supported by the LanguaMetrics team that support TutorRev, the RevLearning Suite, and LanguaTest.
